Our shelves carry what our kitchens use — and our cellar pours what we import ourselves. No middlemen, no substitutes, no compromise.
Cépaé began in 2015 with a simple frustration: the wines our founder loved were either impossible to find in Washington or priced beyond reason by layers of middlemen. So he obtained his own importer's license and went directly to the source — winemakers he knows personally, from the Loire to every corner of France.
The result is a cellar of honest, well-crafted wines at honest prices — poured by the glass in Bellevue and sold by the bottle from our shelves, to carry home or to give.
Imported directly from the vineyards, by us, for you.

Mariage Frères — the storied Parisian tea house, from Marco Polo to Rouge Bourbon-Vanille.
French jams, mustards, and pantry staples — the small jars that make a kitchen French.
Alain Milliat juices, fine chocolates, and sweets worth savoring slowly.
French butter and a selection of cheeses — the foundation of everything we bake and serve.
Bottles from the growers we import directly — ask us for a pairing, or trust the Loire.
Pain au levain by the kilo, gift boxes, and the Découverte de la Viennoiserie.
They sell out every time we bring them in — a small proof of what our shelves stand for. Ask us when the next arrival lands.
